Trouble Sleeping?

Under Phoenix City Code § 23-32 and Arizona state noise ordinance, permitted construction hours are restricted to 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM weekdays (October–April) and 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM weekdays (May–September) — reflecting the summer practice of starting earlier to beat the heat. No permitted construction on weekends or holidays without a separate authorization.

An EXTH (Extended Hours) permit authorizes work outside those windows — nights, weekends, or both. An EXTR (Extended Hours Renewal) is the same permit renewed, often repeatedly. Each requires explicit city staff approval. The permits below are currently active and authorized for overnight or weekend work near residential zones.

Hours filter pre-set to am — shows any permit whose authorized hours include AM time (e.g. 7PM–7AM, 12AM–9PM). Clear the filter to see all extended-hours permits regardless of time window.
